Baptism

We're so excited you want to be baptized! We believe that baptism is an outward sign of an inward commitment of believing in and following Jesus. It is symbolic of salvation, not part of salvation. Since it is a symbol, we believe that only those professing a personal faith in Christ should be baptized.  Have you made the decision to trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Then baptism is your next step!   

Baptism For Children:
- We will baptize anyone over age 6 (1st Grade) who has a Biblical understanding of what salvation is and what baptism symbolizes.
- Anyone under 18 years old, must have a parent register their child and provide consent prior to baptism.  Parent(s) must also be present for their child's baptism.
- We encourage parents to partner with our Starpoint Kids and Student ministries to guide your children through these decisions of faith.
- We also have additional information to help you have a conversation with your child and determine their readiness at Starpoint.Church/Baptism.

A staff member will follow up with you to talk more about your decision to be baptized and to ensure this is your next faith step.
